The “Evolution” sketches are inspired by the pine tree.
Just one look at the pine tree and I was inspired by the silhouette and flexible lines of the tree. From there it was a natural next step for me to make the “Evolution” sketches.

Inspiration for graphic collection "Evolution"- 2006

The 3 sketches can be seen as growing out of the pine tree and evolving.
Unfortunately I lost the 4 sketch in the series – in that one the root disappeared totally.

Here there are three main drawings and I hope that in the future that I will recover the 4ht one – I will certainly continue with more pine tree inspired sketches.
The drawings were made with a black pen and ink.
