In this collection I tried to combine two contrasts – men and women fashion. I borrowed some design elements from men fashion like shoulder straps and collars from old uniforms and mixed it into the more the more feminine style.
In production these male elements should be from wool and clear-cut in contrast to smooth silk and muslin, which is nice to use for dresses and give a deep feminine feeling.
The “Evolution” sketches are inspired by the pine tree.
Just one look at the pine tree and I was inspired by the silhouette and flexible lines of the tree. From there it was a natural next step for me to make the “Evolution” sketches.

“The Game” is a fast created collection and was part of a mandatory assignment I got at the Vilnius College, Design Department.
I had exactly 3 days to make a collection on the theme of Saint Valentine’s Day and the collection should be part of a show in a local shopping mall on the high street.
The theme was Saint Valentine’s Day and we were told to make the collection around sweet, sexy and shiny – fitting for a Saint Valentine’s Day.
I made it so the 3 models show their different stories and play with different feelings (unfortunately I have only detailed photos of 2 of the models).
