Some ideas about Russian Ballet

This picture was made in 2006,while I was studying as Erasmus student in Cluj-Napoca(Romania). It was a project where the main idea was to make a costume from not traditional material. My inspiration was Russian Ballet,very feminine and elegant theme. I used some metallic fabric for skirt or tutu, and nice tablecloth for corset. The head accessory was designed from scotch tape and 3 bast whisps, which were painted with textile colors.
Everything is 100% handmade!

Fabulous Wedding Dress

This bridal dress was an individual design for a wedding in September the 26th,2009
It was made of silk and french guipure, and has sophisticated silhouette.

This beautiful handmade skirt,that was made from an amazing french guipure and silk laces is connected to the main wedding dress with a buttons around the waist. It works as a belt, that is easy to put on or take off. This technical part not visible, because a pleated detail on a waist line covers it beautifully.

Scottish pattern always looks great!Even if it is not traditional tartan, in my case- jersey fabric.
This piece was made of two different parts- skirt and open shoulder blouse. So, this garment is very functional and it is really easy to find the right combination with other different items.
