“Revival” – collection 2008

“Revival” collection was inspired by the antique things from the 17 to 21 century. I been studying shapes and silhouettes of innovative furniture, interior details, accessories, first photo cameras, telephones and etc. These features I have tried to interpret and transform into elements for my collection.

The idea of the collection is to show the perfect beauty and ideality of antique elements. Consequently, I wanted to prove, that antiques not just exist, they are able to revive and to live their new life together with us.
Finally I wanted to prove that antiques are not cold and dead objects but they are able to relive and live new life together with us!

Accessory by JulijaM- 2007

This accessory was inspired by rather old photos from fashion magazines.
For this accessory I used materials which are completely opposite to feminine materials – materials like transparent plastic paper, metallic elements and leather, but when I combined the non feminine elements I really achieved silhouettes of elegance. This tendency repeats again through the geometrical and symmetrical shape.
The result is a feminine accessory with a touch of futurism but also a hint to vintage style.
